Hey Bahrain.. Is it Arabian Gulf, Persian Gulf or just The Gulf?

Bahrain opposition societies issued a joint statement demanding the legitimate rights for the Bahraini citizens. They called it “Manama Document”. The document demands, elected government, fairer constituencies, scrapping the absolute power exercised by the Prime Minister Khalifa Bin Salman Alkhalifa and ultimately leading to a constitutional monarchy in the tiny Gulf kingdom.

The regime loyalist in Bahrain objected the document, not because the demands were illegitimate, but because the document said The Gulf not The Arabian Gulf. Yes I am serious!

I will not talk about history here and tell you whether it’s the Arabian or Persian, or even the Shitian Gulf simply because I don’t care about a name! But because this is a subject the loyals care about so much I decide to do a little bit of research, oh well, see what I found!

Bahrain national carrier is Gulf Air, say what? Oh that doesn’t say Arabian Gulf Air now does it!

So why aren't they complaining about it? Because they are idiots, thats why. When they don't have an argument they come up with such stupid comments! Okay okay, so what I found something that doesn't say Arabian Gulf, big deal.. No I actually found more.

One of their favourite daily newspaper Akhbaar Alkhaleej or the english version Gulf Daily News (GDN). This newspaper is actually run by Government officials and top class royal ass kissers and though the map of the Gulf is clearly shows in their logo! It doesn't say Arabian Gulf. It only says "The voice of Bahrain" lol.

Hmm.. so thats 2 so far, let have a look at another industry. Banking is huge in Bahrain and here we have a bank many people would love to work for- its the Gulf International Bank. Guess what, surprise surprise, it doesn't say Arabian either.

This is one of the richest banks in the region, but which region? Because it doesn't really say Persian or Arabic? Ah, it says international, so shall we just call it the International Gulf? and forget about the trolls on satellite channels and local newspapers? Anyways, lets see where those people educate themselves, well some of them went and graduated from the Gulf University founded by one of Alzayani family. Alzayani are Arabs not Persians, come on trolls don't buy Mitsubishi cars they are traitors :-p! Oh wait there is another one by Alzayani- Gulf Closures, Oh dear this guy is talking the piss! Such a Safaoooy!

Furthermore, heavy industry we have Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill (GARMCO).

So, dear Government, if you care that much about the Arabian Gulf what don't you issue a royal decree to change all those names?
